In confession I was told by a confessor that sometimes we just have to “slam the door” on a particular sin. With this thought in mine, I approached Rebecca Giles, a fantastic artist who had done another painting for me to ask her to put this concept in a painting. The idea was that the door was being slammed by Jesus with a little help from me as Satan was trying to keep the door open. The image above is what Rebecca came up with and it has wowed people. The original is 9.5″ x 11″ on wood.

After receiving the painting I had prayer cards made. The cards measure 2.5″ x 4.5″ (typical prayer card size). I have a limited quantity now but will have more soon. Call, text or email if you are interested in obtaining cards. Priests may be interested in having some with them in the confessional to give to penitents!
